People with hands raised during a Sunday gathering, lit by blue stage light

A church in West Asheville

Everyone is welcome at

God’s

table.

Morrow meets in a 1927 firehouse on Haywood Road. Sundays at 9:30 and 11:15, with the bay doors rolled up whenever the weather plays along.

Your first Sunday

Here’s what Sunday looks like.

Four things worth knowing before you pull into our back lot.

Coffee in the engine bay

A local roaster supplies it, volunteers pour it, and it is free before and after both gatherings.

Seventy-five minutes

Music, a reading, one sermon and a closing prayer. We end when we said we would.

Kids behind the yellow door

Rooms from birth to fourth grade at 9:30 and 11:15. You keep a pickup tag, they keep the crayons.

Wear what feels like you

Jeans or your Sunday best, both fit right in. Come as you are.

A week at Morrow

Sunday is where it starts.

Most of Morrow happens away from the stage: around porch tables, beside a fire pit and over a free dinner every Tuesday.

Who gets a seat?

At a dinner party, Jesus watches the guests jostle for the good chairs. Then he turns to the host with a stranger guest list in mind.

Ministries

A place for every age and stage.

Bring a toddler, a teenager or a head full of questions. Someone here has walked the same road.

“I came for my daughter’s sake and planned to sit in the back for a month. Two years later I’m the guy who brings too much chili to group.”

First-time questions

Things people ask before they come.

Still curious? Text (828) 555-0137. A human answers, usually within the hour.

Is there a dress code?

Not at all. Come in what feels natural to you, from jeans to a jacket and tie.

Where do I park?

Park free in our back lot or along Haywood Road. ART route W stops out front, and bike racks sit beside the bay doors.

What about my kids?

Head for the yellow door on the left. A volunteer checks your kids in and gives you a matching tag, and you collect them from that same room.

Will anyone single me out?

No. There’s no standing up, no visitor badge and no show of hands. Sing, sit quietly or just watch, and the offering is for people who already call Morrow home.

What does Morrow believe?

We are a nondenominational church rooted in the Nicene Creed. Our About page lays it out in plain language.

Can I get around with a wheelchair or stroller?

Yes. The engine bay is step-free, a ramp leads to the upstairs rooms, and accessible restrooms sit next to the coffee bar.
